Privacy notice
This notice explains what information this website collects, why, and what happens to it.
Who is responsible
Steady State is a part of Brightwise Pte. Ltd., a company registered in Singapore (#02-0168 Circular Road, Singapore 049422). Brightwise Pte. Ltd. is the controller of the information described here. Questions go to hubert@steadystate.design.
The contact form
When you send a message through the form, your name, email address, company name and message are sent to Formspree, a form service based in the United States, which forwards them to us by email. We use them only to reply to you. Formspree keeps a copy of each submission in our account. Form messages are deleted after 12 months unless you become a client. Formspree's own notice is at formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy.
Booking a call
"Book time with us" opens a Google Calendar booking page. Google processes what you enter there under its own terms and privacy policy. We receive the booking details (your name, email address and the time you chose) and use them only for the call.
Vercel Web Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits. It is cookieless and runs for every visitor, because it sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. It counts page views and records the referrer, country, device type and browser. It holds no personal identifiers. To tell visits apart it uses a visitor hash, which is discarded after 24 hours. The data is processed by Vercel Inc., a company based in the United States.
Google Analytics
We also use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages help visitors. It runs only after you accept it in the banner at the bottom of the page. If you decline, Google Analytics is not loaded and sends nothing. It records pages viewed, approximate location, device type and the buttons used, with IP addresses truncated. We do not use it to identify individuals, and we do not use advertising features. You can change your choice at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser, after which the banner appears again.
The self-assessment
The self-assessment on this site is a Tally form. What you enter there is processed by Tally under its own privacy notice and shared with us so we can discuss the result with you if you ask.
What this site stores in your browser
- Your theme choice (light or dark).
- The industry version of the page you chose last.
- Whether you accepted or declined analytics.
These are stored in your browser only and are never sent to us.
Your rights
You can ask what information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or object to how it is used, by emailing hubert@steadystate.design. If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom you also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.
Changes
We may update this notice. The date at the top shows when it last changed, and any change is published on this page.
